Claire Barroy is the owner of Imported Heritage, who personally selects each wine in her portfolio when in France. She knows the winemakers's process from vineyard to bottle, their savoir faire and the quality of the final product, so only the best are chosen. Her ongoing relationships with each individual winemaker assures you the finest of continuing quality as she samples each wines in France.
Born in the Champagne region, France, just south of Reims, she had her first sip of Champagne at three. She continued her discoveries with the guidance of her vigneron uncle from Bordeaux. Adding to her knowledge of "Old world" wines, she moved to California in 1992 and discovered "new world" wines while working in the restaurant industry.
Claire her husband Thierry and their daughters divide their time between their home in Southern France and Southern California.
